“During Jones’ tenure, the company experienced growth in sales and market territory, and made significant investments in its production facility, including infrastructure and automation,” according to a news release.
The Better Made Snack Foods board said in the news release they’ve appointed Joseph F. Riley as president to replace Jones. Riley takes over as president of the more than 95-year-old company effective Oct. 12.
A veteran of the snack foods industry, Riley joins Better Made from Grand Rapids’ SnackCraft, where he was president.
Catherine Gusmano, Better Made's CEO and chairman of the board, expressed “excitement and confidence in Riley’sleadership style and his ability to guide the company through its next phase of growth in an industry that is quickly evolving.”
