Raising Cane's next Michigan location set for Novi

Raising Cane’s, known for its hand-battered and made-to-order chicken "fingers" served with its Cane’s sauce, will open soon at 26245 Novi Road in Novi.

The location, across from Novi Town Center, is expected to debut on Aug. 3, according to a news release.

“We're excited to continue growing our presence in Michigan, and Novi is the perfect place for our newest restaurant,” said Raising Cane's Area Leader of Restaurants Jessica Baranski in a news release. “The community has welcomed us with open arms, and we’ve seen tremendous enthusiasm. ... We look forward to creating new jobs, serving great food and sharing our unique Cane's Culture with Novi and communities across Michigan.”

The Novi location is the third in metro Detroit for the Louisiana-founded chain.

Raising Cane’s menu includes a chicken tender combo with Cane’s sauce, plus crinkle-cut fries, Texas Toast and a drink. There is also a kids’ menu, and its chicken tenders are available in portions of 25 to 100, according to the online tailgate menu.

The Novi location is hiring more than 130 crew members for a variety of positions.

Job information is available at jobs.raisingcanes.com. Interviews are now taking place through July 25 at Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotel, 26150 Town Center Drive, Novi,

Like other Raising Cane’s openings, there will be giveaways, including the chance to win free Cane’s for a year.

Founded in Baton Rouge, the chain is known for its “One Love” slogan and meals featuring hand-battered, cooked-to-order chicken tenders served with Cane's sauce and crinkle-cut fries. Todd Graves, the chain’s founder and owner, named the chain after his yellow Labrador Retriever. Its first location opened in 1996, and there are more than 1,000 locations in 40-plus states with more openings planned. Raising Cane’s first Michigan location opened in February 2025 on Ford Road in Canton. Other Michigan locations are in Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Kentwood and Portage.
