Sean “Diddy” Combs Transferred to New Prison After Alleged Head Injury

Shortly after multiple outlets reported the rapper sustained a head injury amid his stay at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix prison in New Jersey, he was relocated to an FCI in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, the Federal Bureau of Prisons told E! News Oct. 16.

Combs’ rep expressed appreciation to the BOP for taking his client’s “safety and security” seriously regarding the move.

"His transfer from one low-security facility to another is an important distinction, and while we cannot speak to the BOP's specific reasons for the move, it is consistent with a decision made with safety and security in mind,” Combs’ rep said in a statement to E! News. "We are grateful for the attention being given to his well-being and hope he can continue serving his time without unnecessary disruption."

Combs’ removal from Fort Dix comes just one day after the BOP told E! News that reports he and fellow inmate Dudus (real name Christopher Coke) had an altercation at Fort Dix was “false” and “did not happen.”

At the time, the BOP noted they could not comment on “the conditions of confinement for any individual” in custody for “privacy, safety and security” reasons.

Combs' relocation also comes shortly after E! News confirmed that his release date from prison had been pushed back from January 21, 2028 to March 2, 2028.
