The Thunder have waived Buddy Boeheim, Nate Johnson, Lamar Wilkerson and Christoph Tilly, the team announced Saturday, bringing their roster down to 17 players.

All four were on Exhibit 10 contracts and can earn bonuses of up to $91,000 by spending at least 60 days with the Oklahoma City Blue.

Boeheim’s stay lasted just hours. The Thunder signed him Saturday after waiving Dariq Whitehead, then released him as they continued preparing their G League roster.

The 26-year-old averaged 15.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 18 games for the Blue last season. He has appeared in 24 NBA regular-season games across three seasons.

Johnson and Wilkerson also had brief stays, signing Friday evening. Both went undrafted this year, Johnson out of Kansas State and Wilkerson out of Indiana.

Tilly, an undrafted big man from Ohio State, spent the full camp and preseason with the Thunder.

Oklahoma City now has 14 players on standard contracts and three on two-way deals. That appears likely to be its opening-night group, leaving one standard spot available.

Keeping that opening gives the Thunder flexibility below the second tax apron and reduces their projected luxury-tax bill. No additional cuts are required.
